01/03 : Young Irelands 0-1 St. Barnabas 1-18
A much weakened St. Barnabas got their 2010 season off to the best possible start with a 20 point hammering of an awful Young Ireland's in Leeds. The game was little more than a minute old when Barnabas registered their first score of the game. Our Yorkshire hosts who were also missing a number of regulars were struggling to get any hold on the game and their only point of the entire contest came after 15 minutes from a free. Whilst this game was a good workout tougher challenges remain in the coming weeks with the side travelling to play Leicester's Naomh Padraig on Sunday 7th March
