Position: Centre Half Back
Height:5ft 11in

Jarlath has been a pillar of strength since signing for St. Barnabas in 2009. He can always be relied on to put in a huge shift and is at his best when the going gets tough. A very good fielder of the ball Jarlath has encountered underage success with his native Tyrone.

'The Catt' as Michael Cattermole is affectionately known is one of the wild boys of the St. Barnabas squad. He is constantly harassing lads and badgering them to go 'on the beer'. Then when you agree, he bails. Despite this, he is a likeable chap and a dedicated player and is extremely close to a regularly starting position in the side.

Alan came through to the senior side along with James O'Hara at aged 16. Since then he has gone on to be one of the most consistent and dedicated players St. Barnabas have had in recent times. Alan was player of the year in 2007 and club captain in 2008. He has missed the entire 2010 season as he is away travelling in Skegness.

Sean returned to the club in 2009 and made a huge impression. Rarely misses training and never misses games, seas was runner up for player of the year in 2009, losing to Mark Mulhern by a single vote. This has not deterred him, he put the dummy back in and has had an even better season in 2010. A great clubman.

Weight: 13st 2
Home County: Warwickshire
Honours: Under 21 Provincial All-Britain 2006, Senior Provincial All Britain 2006, Warwickshire Intermediate League 2009, John Scanlon Cup 2009
James came through to the senior side along with Alan Armstrong in 2004. In the last 6 years he has only missed 4 games. This dedication has ensured that he will go down in Barnabas Folk law. A pioneer, James is very interested in charitable work and can regularly be seen sporting a Loretta cross or preaching to the lads about the dangers of drink.

Francis TREANOR

Occupation: Education Training Consultant
Position: Corner Forward
Height: 5ft 10in
Weight: 11st 7lbs
Home County: Tyrone
Home Club: Tattyreagh St.Pats
Honours: Warwickshire Intermediate League 2009
Francis signed for the club in 2009 and like many of the recent recruits has caused a huge improvement to the standard of the panel. One of the most unassuming and quiet players on the panel, he goes about his business very professionally and is a huge part of the 2010 squad.

Andrew WALSH
Born: 8/4/88
Occupation: Student
Position: Half Forward
Height: 5ft 11in
Weight: 13st
Home County: Warwickshire
Home Club: Sean MacDermotts
Honours: Warwickshire Intermediate League 2009, John Scanlon Cup 2009
Andy saw the light in 2008 and left his home club to travel to Nottingham to play for St. Barnabas. Unfortunately, clerical errors meant he was unable to play for the club until 2009 but since then he has been an excellent asset. Andy, who already has a Senior Championship Medal with Sean MacDermotts will be looking to do the same with St. Barnabas in 2010.

Liam GREANEY
Born: 30th April 1986, Nottingham
Occupation: Engineer
Position: Corner / Half Forward
Height: 6ft
Weight: 10st 8lbs
Home County: Warwickshire
Honours: Clubman of the Year 2007, Warwickshire Intermediate League 2009
Where can we start with Liam Greaney. Liam has done every role for St. Barnabas and is a true club man. In his youth he could have played for the Mayo Minors but the sessions took a hold of him. Nevertheless he has stuck with the 'club' through thick and thin. The club is the term which Liam affectionately gives for the place of his birth, christening, communion, and confirmation; the Greyfriars.

First seen in the Pride of Erin singing Protestant Men, James has gone on to become a very important part of the current side. Playing anywhere in the forward line he can always be counted upon to come up with at least two points and three 'Bradley Rolls'. James was awarded the 'Star Man' award by the Irish Post after his four-point haul against John Mitchels in the Championship Semi-Final of 2010. However, James particularly struggles with short hand-passing drills at training, this despite the encouragement of team mates.
Damien MELVIN
Born: 6/12/86
Occupation: Physiotherapist
Position: Centre-Half Forward
Height: 6ft 2
Weight: 13st 4lb
Home County: Mayo

'Damo' signed for the club at the outset of the 2009 season. A forward, Damien has been one of a number of important players through the club. He seems to get better with every game and has been immense throughout the 2010 season.

Roll: Club Chairman, Underage Structure Manager
Chris joined Barnabas in 1994 and has been a great ambassador for the club ever since, he took a break from playing for several years due to a serious shoulder injury but returned to the fold about 5 years ago. Chris has held the position of club chairman for the last 3 years and has also instigated the revival of the under age structure at St Barnabas, working closely with the Warwickshire games development officers.
You might often find Chris enjoying a few pina coladas on a Friday evening in the South Bar on Trent Bridge or down at the Forest ground following the mighty reds on to victory.

Arron MCHUGH
Born:
Occupation: Engineer
Position: Half Forward
Height:
Weight:
Home County: Sligo
Home Club: St.Molaise Gaels
Honours: Warwickshire Intermediate League 2009, John Scanlon Cup 2009
Former Sligo player Arron is one of the most experienced players on the final. A lad who seems to prefer binge eating as opposed to the more acceptable binge drinking he has become a vital part of the side with his coolness under pressure a key part of his game. Also one of the fastest players in the side.
Michael FRENCH
Born:
Occuptation: Trainee Solicitor
Position: Half Forward
Height:
Weight:
Home County: Kildare
Home Club: Leixlip
Honours: Warwickshire Intermediate League 2009, John Scanlon Cup 2009
Since signing for the club in 2009 and immediately taking Liam Greaneys Number 13 jersey, 'Frenchie' has been an unstoppable force. A quiet an unassuming lad who takes life very seriously, he can often be seen along with James O'Hara sporting a Loretta cross on his suit. Frenchie was 2/1 with club bookie Liam Greaney to finish top point scorer in 2010 and with a number of lads waded in waist deep, there are worries Greaney may be seeking a Government bail out.

Martin TOWEY
Born:
Occupation: Construction Worker
Position: Corner Forward
Height:
Weight:
Home County: Warwickshire
Honours: 2009: Warwickshire Intermediate League, John Scanlon Cup
Martin Towey has been around the club for years and is almost part of the furniture. Another who very rarely misses training and can always be relied on to give 100% it is because of players like Martin that St. Barnabas are so successful.

Sean 'T' O'Connor signed for the club in 2010 but as of yet nobody apart from Sean actually knows if he is any good or not! Sean has struggled with a number of injuries but in his defence he has been a committed trainer and there are plenty who are very confident that a fully fit Sean could be a huge asset to the panel.
